Ulthera is a procedure that uses high-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) to create thermal coagulation points in the SMAS layer, delivering lifting, improved elasticity, and sagging-prevention effects.
When a thermal coagulation point of around 60 to 70 degrees is formed, collagen contracts and regenerates, resulting in an immediate improvement in elasticity.
Pain after Ulthera varies from person to person, but in most cases it is bearable and not very painful.
