Full-face filler with Juvederm MD Codes: technique mastery beats product choice for facial balance.

Full-face fillers,
Where and how much should they be injected
to look natural?
Please check this before reading
Q. With full-face fillers, if you just use a good product,
doesn't that mean the result will be good too?
A. More than the product, where and how much
and in what order you inject it matters far more.
Juvederm MD Codes are exactly the
system that organizes 'order and principles'.
Q. If you inject it full-face,
won't it look too puffy?
A. The issue is distribution strategy, not total amount.
With an MD Code-based design,
you can create a natural sense of dimension.

What are Juvederm MD Codes?
Juvederm MD Codes are
a face-area-specific guideline developed by
Allergan that standardizes
injection points, depth, and volume.
Unlike simply injecting into the cheeks and nasolabial folds,
it divides the face into dozens of 'codes'
and sets the optimal approach angle and depth.
Honestly, more than the product itself,
how accurately you use this code system
is the key that determines the result.

Full-face fillers,
The reason 'where and in what order'
is the key
This is something many people misunderstand,
but what ruins full-face fillers
isn't simply 'injecting a lot'.
Incorrect distribution or incorrect injection depth,
or the order by area being reversed,
is the biggest problem.
For example, if you fill the cheek volume first,
the nasolabial fold can be automatically pressed down
and softened.
Conversely, if you fill the nasolabial fold first,
the cheeks can look heavy
and an unnatural line may appear.
MD Codes are effective because
each point is standardized for what depth
and how many cc to inject.
But MD Codes are only a 'frame', and
the skill to adapt them to the patient's bone structure and skin thickness
is absolutely necessary.
Director Wi Young-jin's key summary
Full-face fillers are a process of designing
'in what order, at what depth, and how much'
all at the same time.
Skill comes from the ability to correctly 'translate' this guideline
to the customer's face.

The approach changes depending on
my face type
Face type | Main concern | MD Code approach strategy |
Volume loss type | Hollow cheeks, sunken temples | Restore structure by filling deep layers first |
Sagging/loosening type | Nasolabial folds, marionette lines | Correct wrinkles after midface lifting |
Line imbalance type | Left-right asymmetry, blurred jawline | Refine the lower face after correcting asymmetry |
Overall aging type | Tired, dull impression | Stepwise three-level dimensional design of the upper, middle, and lower face |
When two or three types overlap in one person,
the key is to decide
what to address first.
People who say it was still vague even after receiving it several times elsewhere
say it looks natural after a custom design
because of this difference in design.

Frequently asked questions
Q1. Can it be used together with other filler products
besides Juvederm?
Yes, it can. Since the required viscosity differs by area,
we mix products even within the Juvederm line.
Q2. How much does it cost,
and how long does the effect last?
It varies depending on the number of areas and amount used,
and the maintenance period is usually about 12 to 18 months.
If injected into deep layers, it can last close to 2 years.
Q3. Are there any side effects or precautions?
Bruising and swelling may last about 3 to 7 days,
and it is most important to be treated by experienced
medical staff who are well versed in vascular anatomy.
