Laser vs. microneedle RF treat Pores differently — surface vs. dermis energy compared.

Pores that lasers couldn't improve,
how is Potenza RF different?
Many people have tried toning or Genesis laser at least once because of pores.
Laser treatments are often tried for this reason.
At first, the skin texture may feel smoother,
but over time it often returns to how it was before.
So at some point,
you may start to wonder, 'Is there a limit to what lasers can do?'
Lasers and microneedle RF actually
reduce pores in fundamentally different ways.
Rather than asking which one is better,
the key is where the energy is delivered.

Light, or heat delivered by needles?
Lasers deliver light energy to the skin surface,
and that light works by being absorbed by specific targets.
Because it affects the skin from the surface to the upper dermis,
it is often used for pigmentation, texture, and sebum control.
Potenza RF, on the other hand, does not work this way,
it delivers heat directly, bypassing the skin surface.
Because heat is delivered into the dermis through the needle tips,
depth can be adjusted while reducing surface irritation.
It is mainly used when aiming to stimulate dermal collagen
or strengthen the structure around pores.

The more pores are a 'structural issue,'
the more RF is used
If pores are simply due to sebum,
lasers or skincare treatments can improve them to some extent.
But 'structural pores' with reduced elasticity
do not change much if you only smooth the surface.
In such cases, a method that directly
stimulates the deeper dermis may be a much better fit.
This is why microneedle RF is often discussed
in pore care.
Of course, depending on the device settings, depth and power
should be adjusted to suit different layers.

It may not be a matter of choosing one
over the other
In actual clinics, lasers and
microneedle RF are often used together.
Surface sebum and texture issues are addressed with laser,
while deeper structural issues are handled with RF.
So the result that 'laser didn't work'
does not mean that 'RF will work.'
First, it's important to accurately identify
what type of pores you have, before the treatment itself.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q. If I didn't see results with a laser,
should I switch to Potenza?
A. Not necessarily. The type of pores matters.
If the issue is dermal elasticity,
RF may be a better fit.
Q. If I receive both treatments together,
is it more effective?
A. Depending on the case,
it can be a very good combination.
However, the order should be planned carefully
so that the stimulation does not overlap.
Q. Is RF a stronger treatment than laser?
A. It is less about being 'stronger' and more about being a different approach.
The stimulation applied to the dermis is by no means mild.
