Seoul Wedding Package Dermatology Clinic,
When should you start preparing your skin before the wedding?

Hello, this is Beautystone Clinic
and I am Dr. Wi Youngjin, a Seoul National University-trained specialist.
"My wedding is 6 months away,
when should I start visiting a dermatology clinic?"
This is one of the questions
I get asked most often in the consultation room.
Usually, while dresses or
wedding package reservations are made early,
people think about skin care at the very end
and end up coming
just one month before the wedding.
But to be honest with you,
one month is too late.
Because to achieve the results you want,
there are definitely treatments that require
at least 3 to 6 months.
Today, I’ll explain how to choose and prepare for a Seoul wedding package dermatology clinic
based on my experience.
I’ll share this
based on my clinical experience.
1. Wedding skin package,
what does it include?

Just because it’s called a
"wedding package" doesn’t mean there is only one fixed set.
Since everyone’s skin condition is different,
a standardized package
can actually be inefficient.
The wedding care plans I mainly design
focus on melasma/pigmentation, pores/texture, and skin tone
with these three pillars
at the center.
Goal | Main Treatment | Recommended Timing |
Melasma/Spots | Pico laser, laser toning | 6 months before |
Pores/Skin texture | Fraxel, microneedling | 4–6 months before |
Lifting/Firmness | HIFU, thread lifting | 3–6 months before |
Tone/Glow | IPL, skin booster injections | 2–3 months before |
Final touch | Hydration moisturizing, skin care | 2–4 weeks before |
According to clinical studies,
after melasma treatment,
it takes an average of 8–12 weeks
for pigmentation to stabilize.
If you rush and start only one month before,
you may actually be left with post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH).
That’s why I say
a 6-month buffer is absolutely necessary.
2. There is a separate package
tailored to your skin type

"Can’t I just get
the exact same famous package?"
I hear this often in consultations,
but honestly, that’s not the case.
The approach must differ by skin type,
and especially for sensitive skin, layering
strong lasers can be risky.
I generally help patients by designing plans
divided into three major types.
① If melasma/pigmentation is your concern
Pico laser precisely breaks down melanin,
and for this type, starting 6 months in advance is essential.
② If pores/skin texture is your concern
Regeneration is induced with Fraxel or radiofrequency (RF).
Distributed treatments starting 4 months before are effective.
③ If your goal is tone-up/glow
We clear minor spots with IPL and add skin booster injections.
💡 Specialist Tip
The saying "skin booster injections should be done right before the wedding"
requires caution, as temporary swelling may occur.
2–3 weeks before the ceremony is the most appropriate timing. 😊
3. Wedding package dermatology clinic,
be sure to check these

In areas near Hapjeong, Hongdae, and Mapo in Seoul,
there are truly many dermatology clinics concentrated together.
From a specialist’s perspective,
these are the three criteria
I strongly recommend you verify.
First, does the head doctor
perform the procedures directly?
In wedding care, one mistake
is recorded in photos that last a lifetime.
At Beautystone Clinic,
I personally perform all procedures.
Second, can they provide schedule-tailored
'reverse planning'?
It should be a place that sets your treatment schedule
based on your wedding date.
Third, is aftercare clearly defined?
Moisturizing and calming care after laser treatment
is important enough to determine 50% of the result.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q1. I have 3 months left.
Will it still be effective if I start now?
Absolutely possible. Since the timeline is short,
I’ll set priorities and arrange the sequence by date for you.
Q2. About how much does a wedding package
usually cost?
It varies greatly depending on your condition and the equipment used.
After consultation,
we provide a transparent customized quote.
Q3. I’m worried about going to work
because of swelling after treatment.
For IPL and similar treatments, same-day work is possible,
but Fraxel-type procedures
require about 3–5 days of recovery.
Beautystone Clinic is open on Sundays as well, so
feel free to visit us. 👍
If you feel overwhelmed before the day you should shine the most,
just come in for a consultation first.
At Beautystone Clinic in Hapjeong·Hongdae, Seoul,
I will personally help you find
your best condition for your wedding day.
Thank you for reading.

With GentleMax Pro Plus, using both wavelengths does not mean the results are the same.
We explain through clinical cases why GentleMax Pro Plus uses two wavelengths—755nm Alexandrite and 1064nm Nd:YAG—tailored to hair type and skin tone.

Still feeling heavy after eye correction? Why you should check the temple tenting effect
The tent effect of eye lifting works by supporting sunken temples with volume, allowing the outer corners of the eyes and the eyebrows to naturally lift. It explains the mechanism by which the eyes appear larger without pulling.

Based on clinical experience, we compare the ingredient differences, duration, and selection criteria by skin type for three collagen booster fillers (Sculptra, Radiesse, and Juvelook).

When it comes to Brazilian hair removal, caution is needed for dark skin.
Because the Brazilian area has a short hair growth cycle, 6 to 8 sessions at 4 to 6 week intervals are generally recommended. Recording changes in hair density and texture at each session and adjusting the energy level is what determines the results.
