Thermage quotes only compare fairly once three things sit on the same line: the tip type, the shots per area, and any treatment bundled in. A quote labeled "Ultherapy + Thermage" or "eye Thermage" uses a different tip and covers a different area, so putting the totals side by side means you're pricing two different treatments. Below, we walk through each line you'll want to match before you compare.
Quick summary
Line up tip type, shot count, and bundled treatments before you compare totals.
Tip: The full face uses a 4cm² Total Tip; the upper eyelids use a 0.25cm² Eye Tip. They're different tips, not different settings.
On Beautystone's price list, Thermage 600 shots is ₩2,290,000 (VAT not included, as of September 8, 2026).
Timing: After one session, results typically show fully at around 6 months.
Which Thermage Tip Is Your Quote Actually For?
Start with the tip. The tip used on the full face and the tip used on the eyelids differ in surface area by 16 times, and they're used on different spots with a different prep routine. Think of it as a wide paint roller versus a small detail brush.
In a survey of 52 dermatologists in Korea, 86.5% of those using Thermage FLX said they use the 4cm² Total Tip with 600 REP.
*REP: the number of pulses a single tip is set to deliver. When a quote says "600 shots," it usually means this number.
Eye Thermage uses a 0.25cm² tip and makes several passes over the upper eyelid and the outer corner of the eye. A numbing cream goes on about 30 minutes beforehand, and you wear protective eye shields (like contact lenses) during the treatment. That's why it's worth asking whether the eye area is included in the face's 600 shots or added as a separate line. We cover how the eye tip is used in our eye Thermage guide.

How Do You Line Up a Quote Against the Price List?
The price list shows Thermage in one size only: 600 shots. The figures below are list prices as of the date shown. Seoul clinic pricing — subject to change.
Price list item | Price (VAT not included) | As of |
|---|---|---|
Thermage 600 shots | ₩2,290,000 | September 8, 2026 |
Ultherapy 600 shots | ₩2,990,000 | September 8, 2026 |
If you treat a 300-shot quote as half of the 600-shot price, or divide everything into a per-shot price, the math won't hold up. A different shot count changes how much area the heat reaches and how many passes are made, so it isn't the same treatment. Before comparing, check that your quote fills in these four lines:
Tip name and size (4cm² Total Tip or 0.25cm² Eye Tip)
Shots per area (face, under the chin, and around the eyes, each listed)
Whether numbing cream and post-treatment soothing care are included
Whether the total includes VAT
Even at the same 600 shots, how they're split across your face depends on where the laxity leans. At Beautystone, the doctor first looks at the balance of sagging across the whole face and any left-right difference, then sets the shots for each area before writing up the quote.

How Should You Read an Ultherapy + Thermage Bundle?
A bundled quote is only comparable if it lists how many shots each device uses. Ultherapy delivers heat with ultrasound, while Thermage uses radiofrequency, so you can't add their shot counts together or swap one for the other.
If the quote shows a single bundle price on one line, ask which device gets how many shots. That one answer tells you whether two bundles are even the same treatment plan.
Whether you get both on the same day or space them out depends on your skin, and that's decided at the exam. For how the order and spacing are chosen, see our guide on combining Thermage and Ultherapy.

Swelling or Blisters After Thermage: Which Side Effects Can Wait?
What usually settles on its own
A review of more than 600 radiofrequency treatments found that redness and swelling mostly went away within 24 hours, while 6 patients had swelling that lasted up to a week. Temporary side effects showed up in 2.7% of treatments. One case of a slight dent in the cheek resolved within 3.5 months. Small red bumps and thin crusts cleared within a week, and small lumps under the skin faded within 17 days.
When to contact the clinic right away
A blister forms, or fluid oozes from the skin
A crust forms, or you see a dented or sunken spot
Swelling or redness hasn't gone down after a week
A lump under the skin is painful or keeps getting bigger
A blister can be a heat burn. Don't pop it, and don't put ointment on it without checking with a doctor first. Burns aren't common, but they do happen: a 2003 record of 86 people followed for six months found second-degree burns in 0.36% of pulses delivered, and 3 people still had small scars at six months. Keep in mind that both of these records come from devices older than the current FLX. If you notice any of the signs above, contact the clinic that treated you right away.

When Do Results Show, and When Would You Get the Next Quote?
According to the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD), you may feel some tightening right after treatment, but collagen takes time to build, so results typically show fully at around 6 months. Thermage isn't a treatment that changes your face dramatically in one visit. That's why judging whether a quote was worth it from the mirror right after treatment is too early.
A Korean study that followed 23 people for 24 weeks saw a similar pattern: satisfaction peaked at week 12, while skin elasticity measurements rose meaningfully at week 24. Individual results vary, and how much you see depends on your skin.
For the eye area, among 14 people who had one session on the upper eyelids with the 0.25cm² tip, 73% at 2 months and 86% at 6 months said their eyelids had improved by more than half. Those were the patients' own ratings, so they don't carry over directly to a full-face treatment.
As for spacing, 51.9% of the doctors in the survey above said they repeat Thermage after about a year. Go too soon, and you may pay again before you've seen the results that are still building. Wait too long, and the laxity may have progressed enough that the shot plan needs to be rebuilt from scratch.

The Bottom Line: Compare Tip, Shots, and What's Included
When you compare quotes, write down not just the price per session but also whether you'd plan another session about a year later. That's when the real cost becomes clear.
Before you decide, ask how the Total Tip shots would be split across your face, and how many go to each area. That one answer makes your quotes much easier to compare.
If you're weighing several Thermage quotes, a consultation is where you can find out what fits your face. Beautystone is a clinic in Seoul's Hapjeong area. When you reach out, include the tip name and shot count from the quotes you already have, plus the month of your last Thermage session.
