Skin Botox · Botulinum Toxin Type A
Same Botox.
Different effect.
Wrinkle Botox reduces muscle size; Skin Botox places small amounts spread across the shallow skin layer to control fine lines, pores, and sebum.

Each area
has its own timing.
Because it's spread widely across a shallow layer, when you notice the change depends on the area.
- When change appears
- Face 1 week / Body 3–4 weeksThe larger the muscle, the later you'll notice it.
- Common reactions
- Recovers within 1–2 weeksYou may notice a swollen feeling, bruising, or redness.
- Washing / Makeup
- Same day, once bleeding stopsDon't rub the treated area hard.
- Heat / Exercise
- Take care for about a weekAvoid heavy drinking, saunas, and jjimjilbang. Intense muscle exercise may reduce the effect.
Same medicine,
different depth.
Wrinkle Botox is injected into the muscles that create facial expressions. Skin Botox places very small amounts, divided into many points, in the shallower skin layer. The ingredient is the same, but where it acts is different.
- The active ingredient is Clostridium botulinum toxin type A.
- Wrinkle Botox goes into the expression muscles; Skin Botox goes into the shallower skin layer above them.
- Instead of concentrating it in one spot, small amounts are spread over a wide area.
- Botulinum toxin products are prescription medicines, prescribed and administered by a doctor.
- The effect is not permanent. Repeated injections can lead to antibodies that reduce the effect, so the interval is discussed with the medical team.

won't change your pores.
Pores that look enlarged and oiliness that builds up by the afternoon are a different issue from treatments that add moisture or induce collagen production.
Skin Botox works on the skin's shallow layer to control fine lines, enlarged pores, and excess sebum production. It also looks at achieving a more even skin texture.
For one week,
avoid heat.
Avoid heavy drinking, saunas, and jjimjilbang, and don't rub the treated area hard. Intense muscle exercise may reduce the effect.
What to know before treatment, and what to tell us
- You may notice some puffiness, bruising, or redness at the treatment site, which resolves within 1 to 2 weeks.
- Washing your face and applying makeup are fine on the day of treatment once bleeding has stopped. However, avoid rubbing the treated area hard.
- Apply enough moisturizer to protect the skin and prevent dryness, and use sunscreen when going outside.
- Intense muscle exercise may reduce the effect of Botox, so please avoid it as much as possible, and avoid heavy drinking, saunas, and jjimjilbang for about a week.
- As the muscle shrinks, you may feel some stiffness, or supporting muscles may temporarily look enlarged; this improves within 2 weeks to a month.
- Wrinkle Botox suppresses certain facial expressions, so you may temporarily feel your expression looks unnatural, your eyes feel heavy to open, or under-eye fat appear more prominent. If symptoms last more than a week or feel uncomfortable, please contact us.
- Please tell us about any medications you're taking and how you responded to previous toxin treatments before your appointment.
- Risk cannot be guaranteed at zero.
