Why Is Body InMode Usually Planned as 3 Sessions?
Because that's how it's been studied. A single session isn't expected to make a big visible change, and the published body studies on InMode's Transform system gave 3 sessions, then measured results 3 months after the last one.
Transform combines radiofrequency (RF) heat aimed at the subcutaneous fat* with electrical muscle stimulation. In the smaller of the two studies, 15 people had 3 abdominal sessions spaced 2 weeks apart. The handpieces in your own plan may differ from the ones in these studies, so ask which one would be used on your area.
*Subcutaneous fat: the layer of fat just beneath the skin, the part you can pinch.
Spacing deserves a thought, too. If sessions are too close together, the next one can start before redness and warmth from the last one have settled. If they're spread too far apart, it gets harder to follow how the area is changing from one session to the next.
That's why it helps to settle the spacing and the date you'll check your results before you choose between paying for one session or the package.
How Much Can 3 Sessions Change Your Waistline?
On average, less than 2 cm around the waist, and fat thickness changed more consistently than waist size did. In a 44-person study, waist circumference shrank by an average of 1.9 cm and ultrasound-measured tissue thickness by 3.1 mm, both checked 3 months after the third session.
The 15-person study told a slightly different story. Waist size changed by only 0.43 cm on average, which wasn't a clear difference, while fat thickness on ultrasound dropped by 5.4 mm.

Body InMode Side Effects: What Passes and What Needs a Call
Redness, warmth, and mild swelling or soreness at the treated spot are expected reactions, and a tingling or burning feeling can linger for a few days. Less often, too much heat can cause a blister or a burn. One person in the 15-person study developed a small blister, which healed with simple wound care and left no lasting marks.
