Juvelook Price: Why Per-Session Cost Misleads
Juvelook prices range from 300K to 800K KRW per session—here's the real benchmark for true cost.

Juvelook price: if you only look at the per-session cost
the real reason people regret it
"I saw online that some Juvelook treatments are 190,000 KRW per session,
so what's the difference?"
A lot of people ask that.
Today, I'll explain
the reason step by step.

Juvelook: first, a one-line explanation of what it is
Juvelook is a collagen booster that induces collagen production
by injecting PDLLA (poly-D,L-lactic acid)
in microparticle form.
Unlike Rejuran, which is often compared alongside it,
Rejuran uses PN (salmon DNA)
to send signals for skin regeneration,
while Juvelook uses PDLLA
that slowly degrades in the dermis
to lay down collagen.
The mechanism of action itself is different.

Why does the same Juvelook
cost more than twice as much?
Key point of this article
With Juvelook, you can't just look at the price of one session.
You need to compare it based on a 3- to 4-session package
to see the real cost.
It's 300,000 to 400,000 KRW per session,
but it's hard to even measure the effect from a single treatment.
This is the question we get
nearly 20 times a week in the clinic.
"One place charges 190,000, another 450,000 KRW,
what on earth is different?"
To be honest, 80% of this price gap comes down to
the 'dose' and the 'way sessions are bundled.'
Juvelook comes in units of one vial (2 cc).
But some clinics use the entire vial
in one treatment,
while others use only half a vial (1 cc)
and label it as one 'session.'
In many cases, the 190,000-KRW option is the latter.
Even if it says one session,
the actual amount of medication used is half.
And there's one more important thing here.
If PDLLA particles are injected at the wrong depth,
nodules can form.
They need to be evenly distributed in the deep dermis
(about 2.5 to 3 mm),
but if the injection is too shallow or clumps in one spot,
it can remain as a palpable lump.
That's why the medical team's injection technique,
massage time, and aftercare
are reflected in the price.
This is something many people find
surprising.
A 39-year-old client came in last week,
and she said she had tried it once elsewhere based only on price
but barely felt any effect.
She got one treatment from us at a measured dose
(a full 2 cc vial) without expecting much,
and three weeks later she contacted us saying, "Wow, my skin tone looks different."
She said she didn't expect to feel the difference
this quickly.
If the amount injected is doubled, even the same procedure name
can produce different results.
Director Wi Young-jin's key summary
With Juvelook, you should not compare only the price of one session.
First, the cc dosage included in one 'session'
varies by clinic.
Second, because it is hard to measure the effect of a single treatment,
you need to compare the total price of a 3- to 4-session package
to see the real cost.

Juvelook price: how should you calculate it
based on your situation?
Category | 1-session price range | Actual dosage | 3-session package total |
Ultra-low-price ad | 150,000-220,000 KRW | 0.5-1 cc | Low effectiveness |
Average price range | 300,000-450,000 KRW | 2 cc (1 vial) | 900,000-1,200,000 KRW |
Premium | 550,000-800,000 KRW | 2 cc + booster | 1.5-2 million KRW range |
This is how I usually explain it.
If it's your first time, it's natural to want to
try just one session,
but Juvelook is a treatment where PDLLA needs time
to produce collagen,
so with just one session it's hard for you to feel the effect.
So it makes sense to plan for at least 3 sessions,
spaced 4 weeks apart, and compare within that total amount.
I also remember a case with a 25-year-old client.
At first, she couldn't decide based only on the 1-session price,
but when she calculated it as a 3-session package,
she personally confirmed that the seemingly cheaper ad
was actually more expensive.
190,000 KRW x 3 sessions = 570,000 KRW,
and to get the same effect from a full 2 cc dose once,
you'd need 6 sessions.
Before deciding based on price,
the three questions people ask most often
Q1. If I pay for a package,
can I get a refund if it doesn't work halfway through?
A. This is something many people misunderstand.
With collagen boosters like Juvelook, after 1 or 2 sessions
less than half of people say, "Oh, this is good."
Often, people start noticing it themselves
when they look in the mirror around the 3rd session.
So asking for a refund after just one session
is usually too early to judge effectiveness.
Refund policies differ by clinic, so before paying,
be sure to get the refund ratio by session in writing.
Q2. So how much budget
should I set aside for the whole thing?
A. It's hard to answer in one sentence,
because skin condition and goals differ.
That said, as a general guideline,
for a full one-vial dose,
budget around 350,000 to 450,000 KRW per session,
and for a 3- to 4-session package,
expect around 1.1 to 1.6 million KRW.
If it's much cheaper than this, question the dosage,
and if it's much more expensive, check whether it's a package
bundled with boosters, LDM, or aftercare.
Q3. I got it at a cheap place,
and now I can feel a lump. Is that normal?
A. At first, I thought it would all resolve over time,
but...
Once a nodule forms, it can take more than 6 months
to be naturally absorbed,
or in some cases require a procedural intervention.
If the injection depth was wrong, or
if there wasn't enough massage,
the particles can clump together in one spot.
If the palpable lump doesn't subside for more than 2 weeks,
don't just leave it alone.
Go back to the clinic where you had it done,
or get evaluated by another clinic.
A lower price doesn't necessarily mean
a higher risk of nodules,
but there is definitely a part of the price that reflects
the clinician's skill.
If you take away just one thing today,
— Juvelook should not be compared by per-session price,
but by the total cost of 3 to 4 sessions based on the standard dose.
In the next article,
I'll go over the 5 questions you should definitely
ask a clinic before paying for Juvelook.
From cc dosage to refund terms,
if you hear it directly in the clinic,
the parts you can't see from price ads alone
become clear.
