Before JuveLook Glam Shoulder Filler Treatment
3 Things You Must Know
The number of people getting shoulder filler has increased a lot.
Director Kim Gaeul loves working out,
and even she said she wants to try it haha.
Shoulder filler has about 3 advantages:
Your face looks smaller
Your shoulders look more squared
Your arms look slimmer
Those are the three.

Q. JuveLook Glam shoulder filler,
how is it different from regular filler?
Yes, the ingredients themselves are different.
It’s not just simple volume filling,
but a method that stimulates collagen production,
so the texture and longevity of the results are different.
I’ll explain it in detail below.
Q. Can shoulder line correction actually be done,
or is it just marketing?
It can be done.
However, depending on shoulder shape
and fat distribution,
the range of effect varies.
I’ll organize the criteria
I use below.
Q. Is the pain or
downtime severe?
No, it’s not severe.
Still, due to the nature of the area,
there are things you need to be careful about,
so I’ll cover that thoroughly as well.
Let’s first go over
what JuveLook Glam is

JuveLook Glam is a PLLA-based
collagen-stimulating filler.
Unlike conventional hyaluronic acid fillers,
it doesn’t create instant volume right away.
Over time,
it induces collagen production in the tissue,
so it fills in naturally.
This part can feel a bit unclear,
because right after the procedure,
you might wonder if there’s no effect.
There is initial volume at first,
then it settles once around weeks 2–4,
and then gradually fills up
over 1–3 months. That is the normal course.
There is one reason
to use this on the shoulder area.
Shoulders have mixed fat and muscle,
so if you only fill with regular filler, it can easily lose shape.
JuveLook Glam strengthens
the tissue itself,
which helps compensate for this issue.
Shoulder filler: who benefits from it,
and who doesn’t?

To be honest, shoulder filler
is not equally effective
for everyone.
Based on what I see
in the clinic, this is how I summarize it.
[Cases with good results]
People whose shoulders are close to a right angle
and whose clavicle-to-deltoid boundary
is not clearly defined
People with a straight neck-to-shoulder line
where the shoulder line does not stand out
People who are generally slim
but are dissatisfied only with their shoulder line
[Cases with limited effects]
People with thick shoulder fat layers
where the filler effect gets buried
People with developed trapezius muscles
whose shoulders are elevated in shape
(Botox comes first)
People with severe left-right asymmetry
for whom filler alone
has limitations in correction
Director Wi Youngjin’s practical note:
In my experience, satisfaction is highest
when the shoulder fat layer is thin
and the deltoid contour is well defined.
On the other hand, when the entire shoulder is thick,
the filler effect can get masked,
and feedback can sometimes be less satisfying.
This is something I also
always explain in advance.
JuveLook Glam is a product that takes time,
so it’s right to evaluate results
after 2–3 months.
During that period, avoid massage
or strong pressure,
and please follow aftercare instructions.
The procedure process,
this is how it actually goes

The process itself is not complicated.
Design
We mark the areas that need correction
and the injection points.
Anesthesia
We apply topical anesthetic cream
for about 30–40 minutes.
Injection
Using a cannula, we inject
the product into the subcutaneous layer (about 20–30 minutes).
Finishing
Right after the procedure, we use massage
to distribute it evenly.
Pain is greatly reduced
when anesthetic cream is used,
but since this is a thick-skinned area,
you may still feel pressure.
It’s not extremely painful,
but it’s not completely painless either.
Downtime is usually mild
and stabilizes within a week.
However, for up to 2 weeks,
you should avoid exercise
that puts strong pressure on the shoulders.
Cost and longevity,
I’ll be honest with you

The downside is the cost ^^..
The product unit price itself is higher than regular fillers,
and the amount used is not small,
so cost burden is real.
Still, in terms of longevity,
it has a clear advantage.
Once collagen settles in place,
I’ve seen quite a few cases lasting
about 1.5 to 2 years.
Of course, depending on metabolism
and lifestyle patterns,
individual differences do exist.
Usually, an additional injection may be recommended
1–2 months after the first treatment,
but it’s better to divide injections naturally
based on progress.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q1. Can I get trapezius Botox
together with this?
A. Yes, combination treatment is possible.
Pressing down the shoulder line with Botox
and shaping contour with filler
looks much more natural.
Q2. After treatment,
does the shoulder feel tight or lumpy?
A. During the first 2–4 weeks,
as the particles settle,
it may feel firm.
It usually softens within a month,
so you don’t need to worry too much.
Q3. Can I get the procedure
during lunch break?
A. The procedure itself takes about 1 hour,
but including anesthesia time,
you should allow 1.5–2 hours.
We also offer Sunday appointments,
so using the weekend
is also a good option.
