Rejuran HB schedule,
why it needs to be every 2 weeks
explained through the PN cycle
When the seasons change, the clinic starts to get busy
with people complaining of dry cheeks or
a tight, pulling feeling.
"Isn't it okay to get it once a month?"
A lot of people say that, really.
Today, I'll explain the reason step by step.

Rejuran HB,
how is it different from regular Rejuran?
Rejuran HB is a skin booster that adds
hyaluronic acid (HA) to PN (polynucleotide) ingredients.
PN acts as a signal that awakens skin regeneration,
while HA helps hold moisture in between.
If regular Rejuran Healer focuses more on regeneration,
HB aims for both regeneration and immediate radiance.
That is why the recommended schedule itself is set differently.

Why not just once a month?
In fact, it's the exact opposite
"Why is Rejuran HB given at 2-week intervals?
The cycle in which the PN ingredient works is
shorter than you might think, so if you wait a month,
it enters a period where the effect has faded."
— Director Wi Young-jin (Hongdae Beautystone Clinic)
The question of whether getting Rejuran too often is too much,
is something we hear almost every week in the clinic.
But the PN ingredient sends signals in the dermal layer,
and the active window in which collagen starts to be formed is
about 14 days.
Before this window ends, you need to stimulate it once more
so the effect doesn't fade and
can build up layer by layer.
If you wait a month, the active curve bottoms out
and starts over, so the result becomes flat.
For 3 to 5 sessions, keeping 2-week intervals is
the limit for seeing cumulative effects.

So what interval should
I go at?
Even though the interval is 2 weeks,
the total number of sessions differs by type.
Take a quick look at the plan that fits you best.
Type | Initial schedule | Maintenance schedule |
Starting stage · dryness | Every 2 weeks × 4 sessions | Once every 2–3 months |
Fine wrinkles · loss of elasticity | Every 2 weeks × 5 sessions | Once every 2 months |
Before an event · wedding prep | Every 2 weeks × 3 sessions | Reassess after the event |
It may feel burdensome to fit it into your schedule, but
if you time the first 3 to 5 sessions well,
after that you can maintain it on a much more relaxed schedule.
maintained.
That's why we recommend bundling the early sessions.
it is.
The three most common
schedule-related questions in the clinic
Q1. If I can't keep the 2-week interval and it gets delayed,
do I have to start over from the beginning?
If it's within 3 weeks, you can just continue
without much loss.
However, if it goes beyond 4 weeks,
the active curve has already flattened,
so you need to tighten it back to 2-week intervals
to get the effect.
Q2. After 4 treatments,
how long does the effect last?
On average, a good condition is maintained for about
2 to 3 months.
However, since it varies greatly depending on the skin's recovery ability,
it's best to visit one month after the 4th session
and set a customized schedule.
Q3. If I get it often, do side effects
accumulate?
PN ingredients are naturally broken down, so
there is no concern about toxicity.
However, with 2-week intervals, by the time the injection marks subside,
the next treatment comes around,
so bruising may look slightly overlapped.
If you take away just one thing today,
—the 2 weeks for Rejuran HB were not set by me,
PN set that number.
A one-month gap cuts the effect in half
even if you get the same number of sessions.
In the next post,
'After completing 4 Rejuran HB sessions, the
criteria for deciding the maintenance interval' I'll explain.
That was Wi Young-jin.

Frequently asked questions
Q. If I fall behind and can’t keep up with the 2-week schedule, do I have to start over from the beginning?
A. There won't be much loss if you just continue as is for up to 3 weeks.
Q. How long do the results last after four treatments?
A. On average, a good condition is maintained for about 2 to 3 months.
Q. If I get it frequently, won't the side effects build up?
A. Because the PN ingredient breaks down naturally, there are no toxicity concerns.
Q. Once I finish all 4 sessions of Rejuran HB, how often should I get maintenance treatments?
A. After completing the first 3 to 5 sessions at 2-week intervals, we usually transition to a maintenance routine of once every 2 to 3 months. Building up this initial foundation allows you to comfortably maintain the results afterward. Since recovery rates vary greatly for each individual, we highly recommend a re-evaluation one month after your 4th session.
