Temple Filler, Bigger Eyes? Structural Lifting
Temple Filler enlarges eyes via 75-point MD Code design—not mere volume, but structural Lifting.

If you get temple filler
will your eyes really get bigger?

Q. Isn’t temple filler just
a treatment for filling in sunken areas?
A. No. Temple volume is
directly connected to the outer corners of the eyes and eyebrows.
Depending on where and how much is filled,
the eye shape changes.
Q. How is an MD code-based procedure
different from regular filler?
A. By analyzing 75 strategic points across the entire face,
because we design the filler placement, volume, and angle,
even if one area is filled, the effect on other areas
can be predicted.
💡 Dr. Wi Young-jin’s
key insight
MD code-based procedures
predict and design indirect lifting effects through 75 strategic points.

What is temple filler?
Temple filler (Temple Filler) is
into the depressed area of the temporal region (temple)
by injecting hyaluronic acid or collagen-stimulating filler
a procedure that restores volume.
Because it plays a structural role in supporting
the outer corners of the eyes, the tails of the eyebrows, and the outer forehead
even changes in the eye shape
can be planned together.

Why does filling the temple
make the eyes look different?
Here’s how it works.
When the temple hollow sinks in, the tissue around the outer corner of the eye
is pulled downward, making the eyes look saggy or
as if the outer corners are drooping.
When volume is added to the temple here,
the tissue supporting the outer corner of the eye lifts back up,
making the eyes feel more open.
This is the indirect lifting effect.
The filler must be placed in a deep layer beneath the fascia
to create a real change in the support structure of the outer eye corner.
If the layer is chosen incorrectly, the eyes can look compressed
or the expression can become unnatural.
👨⚕️ Dr. Wi Young-jin’s key summary
The reason temple filler makes the eyes look bigger is
because the tissue supporting the outer corner of the eyes and eyebrows lifts up
due to structural changes.
The injection layer, location, and volume must be precisely designed
to create the intended eye-shape change.

What is MD code design
— Why are 75 points important
I do not approach temple filler
as simple filling.
The MD code-based approach
divides the face into 75 strategic points
and analyzes the connections between each point.
Even the temple area is divided into three zones.
① the outer zone supporting the outside of the eye corner 외측 구역
② the upper zone that lifts the tail of the eyebrow 상측 구역
③ the lower zone connected to the area above the cheekbone 하측 구역
MD code uses these points to
"When 0.5 cc is injected into the temple,
how does the outer corner of the eye respond"
is a precise method that predicts and designs in advance.

Regular filler
vs MD code-based design
Category | Regular temple filler | MD code-based design |
Approach | Filling sunken areas | Analyzing relationships among 75 points |
Eye-shape change | Difficult to predict | Simulation after setting a goal |
Injection layer | Mainly single-layer injection | Layer selection according to purpose |
Lifting | Incidental effect | Designed as an intended result |
❓ Frequently Asked Questions
Q1. How long does temple filler last?
Hyaluronic acid filler usually lasts 12–18 months,
collagen-stimulating filler can last more than 2 years.
The temple area moves less, so the duration tends to be longer.
Q2. How much does it cost?
For both sides, the procedure is usually around 1 cc,
depending on the treatment design method and
the filler product, there may be differences.
It’s best to confirm the exact amount through a consultation.
Q3. Is bruising or swelling severe after the procedure?
The temples have many blood vessels, so bruising can occur
but it usually subsides within 3–7 days.
Before an important event,
we recommend allowing 1–2 weeks.
This has been Wi Young-jin.
