Q. Is this a one-time treatment, or will I need multiple sessions?

A. The collagen-boosting effects typically last about 6 to 12 months, which is why many of our clients choose to have a touch-up treatment once a year. If it is your first time, it can be gentle and natural. It might be difficult to fully judge the results from just one session, so we recommend waiting about six months to see the final outcome before naturally planning your next step.

Q. What should I do if I don't see any changes after 8 weeks?

A. Since 8 weeks is just the starting point of collagen remodeling, more distinct changes are often visible after another 3 to 6 months. However, there is also a possibility that the treatment amount was insufficient, so please re-verify the shot count and consider an additional session if needed.

Q. When would another lifting treatment be a better option than Ultherapy?

A. If you have severe sagging that requires a surgical facelift, or if you immediately need volume replenishment rather than gradual collagen regeneration, a combination of thread lifting, fillers, or collagen boosters would be a better choice for you. If many of your concerns do not align during our indication check-up, it would be best to look into combining this with other treatments instead.

Q. Is the procedure very painful?

A. Since this procedure delivers thermal stimulation deep into the skin, you may experience a tingling or heavy sensation. The level of discomfort varies from person to person. We can minimize any discomfort by applying a numbing cream beforehand or adjusting the device's energy levels for different areas. If you are concerned about pain, please consult with our medical staff in advance.
