Juvelook 5cc on a price list is the volume after mixing, not the amount of product. Each vial holds a dry powder that's dissolved in saline before injection, and how many milliliters a vial is mixed with depends on the area and the layer being treated. So the cc number can't tell you how many vials are inside, which is why I look at the product type and vial count first when reading a quote.
In this article, we'll cover what 5cc means, why one vial gets mixed to different volumes, what each option costs, which type suits the under-eye area, the warning signs after treatment and how it fits a trip to Seoul.
Quick summary
Juvelook 5cc is a mixed volume, so the same 5cc can hold different amounts of product depending on the type and the number of vials.
Price list: Juvelook 5cc is ₩420,000 (VAT excluded, as of September 8, 2026).
In two studies, one vial was mixed with 6 mL or 8 mL of saline and given over 3 sessions, 3 weeks to 1 month apart.
What to look for in a quote: the type name, the number of vials and the number of sessions.
What Does Juvelook 5cc Actually Mean?
It means 5 milliliters of liquid after mixing. A cc and a mL are the same unit of volume. Each Juvelook vial contains PDLLA* particles and hyaluronic acid as a powder, and saline is added just before treatment. So 5cc is what ends up in the syringe, while the amount of actual product is set by how many vials went into it.
*PDLLA (poly-D,L-lactic acid): tiny polymer particles that break down slowly in the body.
Juvelook isn't a single product, either. In Korea it comes in several types, including Juvelook Skin, Juvelook Eye, Juvelook and Juvelook Volume. They share the same ingredients, but each vial holds a different amount of PDLLA. All six types carry the same Korean authorization, for temporarily improving facial wrinkles*.
*Based on Korea's Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS) authorization no. 17-972.
That means 5cc made from one vial of Juvelook Skin and 5cc made from a different type may not carry the same amount of product. If a quote lists only cc, it's worth asking which type and how many vials that figure stands for. Otherwise, two quotes that both say 5cc can look identical on paper and still differ in what you're actually paying for.

Why Is the Same Vial Mixed to Different Volumes?
The layer being treated changes how thin the mix needs to be. In a smile-line (nasolabial fold) study, one vial of Juvelook was mixed with 6 mL of saline, and 1 mL went into the dermis (the inner layer of skin) on each side. For sunken lateral cheeks below the cheekbone, one vial of Juvelook Volume was mixed with 8 mL, and 4 mL went into the superficial fat layer on each side.
Area in the study | Saline per vial | Amount per side | Layer | Sessions |
|---|---|---|---|---|
Smile lines (20 people) | 6 mL | 1 mL | Dermis | 3, one month apart |
Lateral cheeks (24 people) | 8 mL | 4 mL | Superficial fat | 3, three weeks apart |
Three months after the last session, 85% of the 20 smile-line patients were rated improved. In the cheek group, everyone except 1 of the 24 was rated improved. Neither study had a comparison group, so you can't expect the same size of change. Results differ from person to person.
A thinner mix spread over a wider area isn't better or worse by itself. It's chosen to suit the layer, while the dose comes from the vial count. One more point matters here: putting a larger-particle type into a thin spot can lead to lumps, so a thin area like the under-eye starts with choosing the type again rather than just adjusting the dilution.

The "Juvelook 5cc" line doesn't name a type, so the type and number of vials behind it are confirmed at the consultation. Juvelook Volume is priced per vial, so if you're setting it beside a cc-based quote from somewhere else, ask that clinic for its vial count and compare on that basis. How many vials of Volume are typically planned for each area is covered in why Juvelook Volume quotes vary by clinic.

Juvelook Eye vs. Juvelook Volume: Which Goes Under the Eyes?
For thin under-eye skin, I start with Juvelook Eye, the type made separately for that area. Types with more particles per vial, such as Juvelook Volume, call for extra caution there.
In one case report, a 42-year-old woman developed firm lumps 3 weeks after Juvelook Volume was injected into her tear troughs. The authors pointed to the use of a larger-particle product in that spot as the likely cause. It's a single case, so it doesn't show how often this happens. Still, it's a clear example of why the product type matters more than the cc figure when the treatment area is thin.
If your plan covers both the cheeks and the under-eye area, the two may call for different types. In that case, expect the quote to list them on separate lines, each with its own vial count.

Juvelook Side Effects: When Should You Get Care Right Away?
Swelling and bruising usually show up right after the injection and tend to settle within a few days to weeks. In the cheek study, 3 of 24 people (12.5%) bruised, and the bruising cleared within 10 days. Mild tenderness or redness when you press the area is part of this early phase, too. If those reactions worsen or spread, contact your provider right away.
The signs below are different. Don't wait on them:
Skin near the injection site turning white
Unusual pain during or shortly after the injection
Any change in your vision
Sudden trouble speaking, numbness or weakness in the face, arms or legs, or difficulty walking
Face drooping, a severe headache, dizziness or confusion
Get medical care right away for skin color changes or unusual pain, and go to the nearest emergency room for vision changes or any sign of a stroke*. Vision problems and blindness after Juvelook Volume entered a blood vessel are rare, but they've been reported, and the outcome is serious. A message to the clinic doesn't replace that care, so send one after you've been seen.
*Based on US FDA guidance on dermal fillers in general, not on Juvelook specifically.
A firm lump that appears weeks later is a separate issue from swelling. In the under-eye case above, the lump showed up at 3 weeks and didn't hurt. If a lump becomes painful, turns red or keeps growing, it may be infection or inflammation and needs to be examined.

Fitting Juvelook Within Your Travel Schedule
Unless you've had sedation that day, there's no need to postpone your flight home after Juvelook.
It also helps to know what one visit means. Some treatments, such as hyaluronic acid fillers, change your shape the same day. Most others work gradually, bringing your skin closer to how it used to look rather than changing it all at once. Juvelook belongs to the gradual group, and one visit doesn't replace the 3 sessions the studies above used.
Once you're home, you can reach us with photos if you have questions about how the area is settling. If something changes sharply, such as skin turning pale, worsening pain or any change in your vision, see a local doctor or emergency room first rather than waiting for a reply.
The Bottom Line: Type, Vials and Sessions
Before you decide, ask how many vials of which type are mixed into the volume you're quoted, and with how much saline. That one answer turns a cc figure into something you can compare. At the consultation, I look at your overall facial balance and any left-right differences first, then decide which layer and type each area needs before setting the vial count. Like any procedure, it comes with trade-offs, and the choice depends on your skin, your goals and your budget.
