Q. Does Juvelook work better the more often
you get it?
A. No. Collagen remodeling actually takes
at least 4 weeks, and intervals that are too short
can actually reduce efficiency.
Q. Is three sessions enough,
or do I need five or more?
A. It depends on your skin condition, but
since the changes that occur with each session differ,
'timing' is more important than a 'fixed number'.
Director Wi Youngjin's Key Insight
How many Juvelook sessions are appropriate?
A dermatologist explains the timeline of changes by session

What is Juvelook (Juvelook)?
Juvelook (Juvelook) is a PDLLA-based
skin regeneration injection treatment.
Unlike hyaluronic acid fillers that
'fill in' volume,
it induces collagen synthesis within the skin
to improve your own elasticity and density.
That is the key principle.
Compared with skin boosters,
unlike ordinary skin boosters that focus on hydration,
Juvelook focuses on improving the structure
of the dermal layer itself.

Juvelook treatment interval,
why should it be at least 4 weeks?
When Juvelook's PDLLA particles reach the dermis,
collagen is not produced immediately.
Stage 1 (immediately after treatment ~ 1 week)
As the HA ingredient holds onto moisture,
you feel immediate radiance and hydration.
This is a moisture effect, not a collagen effect.
Stage 2 (2-3 weeks)
Fibroblasts begin gathering around
the PDLLA microparticles.
There are not yet major visible changes at this stage.
Stage 3 (4-8 weeks)
Fibroblasts actually synthesize collagen, and
the density of the dermis begins to increase.
Only then do you begin to feel that "your skin has changed."
If it is injected again after just 2 weeks, the stimulation
overlaps while Stage 2 is still in progress, so the process
of building collagen can actually be interfered with.
Director Wi Youngjin's Key Takeaway
With Juvelook, 'intervals' matter more than the
'number of sessions' for results.
Because it takes at least 4 weeks for PDLLA to
convert into collagen,
respecting that cycle is the
most efficient protocol.

Actual skin changes by session
Session | Main changes | What patients feel | Recommended interval |
1st session | HA hydration + PDLLA stimulation begins | Hydration, slight tone improvement | 4 weeks |
2nd session | Additional collagen synthesis begins | Fine lines soften, skin texture improves | 4-5 weeks |
3rd session | Dermal density stabilizes, elasticity forms | Improved firmness, noticeable pore reduction | 4-6 weeks |
4th session+ | Maximized cumulative remodeling | More volume, changes in skin thickness | Determined by condition |
For people with thin skin and significant loss of elasticity,
treatment may continue up to 4-5 sessions, and
those who come for preventive purposes can achieve
sufficiently satisfying results with just 2-3 sessions.

There are also cases where Juvelook is not suitable
Since Juvelook is a treatment that 'creates your own collagen',
the speed of response naturally varies greatly from person to person.
People whose dermis has become very thin due to severe photoaging
People who need volume immediately (fillers are more suitable)
People prone to keloids or who have autoimmune diseases
However, accurately assessing skin thickness and elasticity
during the first consultation and then designing the number of sessions and interval
makes a difference in the results.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q1. Can Juvelook and Rejuran
be administered together?
Yes, it is possible. However, spacing them about 2 weeks apart
is better for managing skin irritation.
Q2. For the cost, 3 sessions or 5,
which is better?
It is reasonable to assess your skin after 3 sessions
and decide whether to add more.
Q3. Is bruising or swelling severe after the procedure?
Compared with fillers, swelling is relatively mild.
However, under the eyes or on the forehead,
minor bruising may remain for about 2-3 days.
That was Wi Youngjin.
