Potenza Pore Review: Pattern from 41-Min Consults
Potenza pore review from my clinic: pumping tip + RF, real cases, and why satisfaction varies.

Potenza pore review,
Patterns seen after 41 minutes of consultation over two months
Let me start with the conclusion.
Reviews saying pores disappear after one Potenza session,
honestly, those are almost nonexistent.
I'll explain why in this post.

They all look like the same Potenza, right?
But actually
Potenza uses tiny needles that enter the skin,
and deliver radiofrequency energy at their tips.
On top of that, it includes
a pumping tip that lets medication flow through,
aiming for skin regeneration and pore improvement
at the same time.
Unlike the commonly compared InMode or standard RF treatments,
Potenza lets the needles reach a specific depth in the dermis
and generate heat directly there. That's the difference.
It works from the inside, not on the surface.

Why is it the same Potenza
for some people it works and for others it doesn't?
Key point of this post
Potenza combines a pumping tip with radiofrequency energy
to target skin regeneration and pore improvement at the same time
This may surprise you.
Last month, a 27-year-old woman came in,
and she had received Potenza four times elsewhere,
but she said her pores were exactly the same.
When I examined her skin, it wasn't really the pores themselves,
but rather excessive sebum production
that made the pores look enlarged.
But here's what's important.
In the previous treatments, they hadn't used the pumping tip
and had only
done four sessions in standard needle mode.
The core of Potenza is the combination of the pumping tip and
radiofrequency.
The needles go 1.5~3.5 mm into the skin,
stimulating collagen regeneration with RF,
while the pumping tip directly targets the sebaceous glands.
These two need to work together
for it to be effective for people with enlarged pores.
In her case, we switched to pumping tip mode
and did three more sessions,
and she started noticing a difference around the third session.
She said it felt like her pores were tightening
as the sebum decreased.
But that's not always a good thing.
Because the pumping tip affects the sebaceous glands,
for people who are naturally dry-skinned,
the standard mode may actually be better.
Director Wi Young-jin's key summary
Potenza is not a treatment that ends in one session.
Depending on whether the pumping tip was used and how deep it went,
the results can be completely different even under the same name.
When reading reviews, you need to check the number of sessions and the mode together.

So, is Potenza
right for me?
Here's a quick table.
Skin type | Recommended mode | Expected sessions |
Oily and enlarged-pore type | Pumping tip + RF | 3~4 sessions |
Dry skin but pitted-pore type | Mainly standard needle mode | 3~5 sessions |
With acne scars | Depth adjustment + pumping tip in combination | 4 or more sessions |
A 22-year-old came in because of acne scars
once,
and for this patient, the scars were more of a priority than the pores,
so we treated at a slightly deeper setting.
Even with the same Potenza, the settings
can be completely different.
If you've read this far,
you may be wondering this
Q1. Will I feel results
after just one Potenza session?
A. Honestly,
fewer than half of people say, "Oh, this is great" after one session.
There is some reduction in swelling and a slightly smoother feel,
but most people don't really feel their pores have shrunk
until after the third session.
Because collagen regeneration builds up slowly,
if you can't wait for that process,
you may end up less satisfied.
And people ask this a lot too.
Q2. What about the cost and spacing?
How should they be set?
A. This is a bit tricky,
because depending on whether the pumping tip is included,
the price can vary quite a bit from clinic to clinic.
Our guideline is 3 to 4 sessions at 3- to 4-week intervals,
and after that, about once every 6 months
for maintenance.
You don't need to do it every month.
In fact, if you do it too often,
your skin won't have time to recover.
Lastly, let me point this out too.
Q3. I heard pimples can come up after the procedure
is that normal?
A. This is something many people misunderstand,
because when the pumping tip stimulates the sebaceous glands,
sebum that was inside can surface.
Some people see that as a side effect,
but it usually settles within a week.
However, if it's still red and swollen for more than two weeks
or if there is oozing,
you should definitely go back to the clinic where you had the procedure.
In the next post, I'll cover 'the first two weeks after Potenza,
the changes seen in the exam room.'
I'll show, through cases, why the timing of when people feel the effect differs.

Even though it’s the same Potenza RF, why do the reviews vary so much?
Even when it’s the same microneedle RF treatment, reviews can vary widely because the tip, depth, energy level, and number of sessions are different each time. We’ve put together a simple guide on how to read reviews.
