Rejuran: I don't expect much round one.

Rejuran: I don't expect much round one.
Why so many “meh” reviews after one Rejuran session, and how results shift session by session.

Rejuran reviews: honestly, I also
don’t expect much from the first session
As spring arrives, the clinic starts to fill with people looking to calm skin troubled by seasonal changes.
"I came after reading Rejuran reviews, but some people said one session wasn’t great,
so I’m unsure"
There are so many people who say this.
Today I’ll explain why, step by step.

The key difference that sets Rejuran apart from other skin boosters
Rejuran is a regenerative treatment that injects PN extracted from salmon
to promote recovery of damaged cells.
Unlike hyaluronic acid treatments that instantly add volume,
Rejuran is closer to “repairing” the skin.
So it is definitely not the kind of treatment where you look in the mirror the next day
and say, “Wow, I look better.”
Why are there so many reviews saying it’s “not that great”
after just one session?
"The reason Rejuran 1-session reviews
are often negative is clear.
PN is a cell-repair treatment, not an instant-effect one,
so pores and fine wrinkles become noticeably different
from the third session onward."
— Dr. Wi Young-jin (Beautystone Clinic, Hongdae)
It takes at least 4–6 weeks for cells to produce new collagen.
That cycle needs to be repeated 3–4 times
before visible changes finally appear on the surface.
Clinically, sessions 1–2 mainly improve skin texture,
and real changes begin from the third session.
People who feel disappointed after just one session and leave a review
are, in fact, evaluating it too early.
Rejuran:
the anesthesia and results that feel right for you
Please check the guide based on your concerns.
Client type | Recommendation | Anesthesia option |
Concerns about pores, fine lines, and skin texture | Best suited (4 sessions recommended) | Cream anesthesia for 30 minutes + cooling |
Acne marks and redness | Recommended (H/HB line) | Adequate cream anesthesia |
Instant volume and lifting | Not recommended (other treatment better) | - |
Sensitive to pain | Possible (use caution around the eye area) | Cream anesthesia for 50 minutes + cooling |
The reason Rejuran pain reviews vary so much is
the difference in anesthesia time and
the injector’s pace.
For patients who are concerned about pain,
I provide enough anesthesia for up to 50 minutes
to make it manageable.
The three questions people ask most after reading Rejuran reviews
Q1. What are the reviews that say they saw results in just one week?
That is more likely a temporary brightening caused by the microneedling injections
than a true effect of Rejuran itself.
The real collagen effect from PN appears after 3–4 weeks,
and you need the cumulative effect of the third session to feel it.
Q2. How long does it last after the full 4-session course?
On average, the effect lasts about 6–9 months.
In people in their early 30s, it can last close to a year,
while in the late 40s it may gradually start to fade after around 6 months.
After that, a maintenance session every 6–12 months
is best.
Q3. I’ve also seen reviews saying bruising or marks last a long time—
is that true?
Because the treatment involves multiple injections into the dermal layer,
minor bruising can occur.
It usually fades within 3–5 days, but if you want to prevent it,
avoid taking omega-3 or vitamin E for a week before the procedure.
Following this alone can significantly reduce bruising.
If you take away just one thing today
— Rejuran reviews must be
read by session number.
Reviews after the first and fourth sessions are
almost like different treatments.
In the next post,
I’ll explain how to time booster treatments after four Rejuran sessions.
This is Dr. Wi Young-jin.
