Rejuran Healer vs HB | How to Choose for Your Skin | Hongdae Beautystone Clinic

Hello, I'm Dr. Wi Young-jin, board-certified physician from Seoul National University College of Medicine and director of Beautystone Clinic.

So Rejuran is supposed to be great — but how many types are there?

Healer, HB, Eye, and S. Many people wonder if they're just different names or if they actually work differently. Today we break it all down — here's everything you need to know.

Rejuran Healer vs HB | How to Choose for Your Skin | Hongdae Beautystone Clinic

1. The Core Ingredient in Rejuran Is PN

PN stands for Polynucleotide.

Simply put, it's a precursor to DNA. It directly supports cell regeneration, giving it strong skin-healing properties.

When Rejuran first launched, it was used for burn patients and severely inflamed skin. Its use for cosmetic purposes in dermatology clinics is what we now call Rejuran Healer.

2. Healer vs HB — What's the Difference?

Rejuran Healer

  • PN only [20mg/ml]

  • Main benefits: cell regeneration, fine line improvement, inflammation recovery

  • Best for: compromised or inflamed skin

  • Fair warning — it hurts.

Rejuran HB

  • PN + Hyaluronic Acid (HA) [10mg/ml]

  • Combines regeneration (PN) with deep hydration (HA)

  • Best for: oily, dry, or dehydrated skin

  • Especially recommended for those with redness or rosacea

  • Contains lidocaine (numbing agent) — noticeably less painful

Rejuran Eye

  • PN only, formulated specifically for the eye area

  • Targets fine lines and dark circles around the eyes

3. Which One Should You Choose?

Acne or redness → HB (hydrates while calming inflammation)

Fine lines or cell regeneration → Healer

Dark circles or eye-area fine lines → Eye

Oily skin is often a sign of underlying dehydration. When skin lacks moisture, it overproduces sebum. That's exactly why HB tends to work so well for oily skin types.

4. How Many Sessions of Rejuran Do You Need?

For problem areas, 3 sessions spaced 4 weeks apart is the standard recommendation.

Even after effects fade, your skin won't fully revert to its previous state. With consistent treatment, collagen remodeling continues to occur. For Rejuran Eye in particular, long-term use can visibly reduce fine lines over time.

5. Treatments That Pair Well with Rejuran

Rejuran × Juvelook Skin Booster

While Rejuran's PN helps with regeneration and inflammation,

Juvelook's skin booster supports hydration and collagen production.

Make sure the injection depth isn't too shallow.

Frequently asked questions

Q. How do the ingredients in Rejuran Healer and Rejuran HB differ?

A. The standard Healer consists of PN (polynucleotide) alone, while the HB version combines PN with hyaluronic acid (HA). The key difference is that the standard Healer focuses on skin regeneration, fine lines, and reducing inflammation, whereas the HB version targets both regeneration and deep hydration simultaneously.

Q. Which should I choose between Rejuran Healer and Rejuran HB?

A. If you are struggling with acne and redness, HB is the right choice as it hydrates while calming inflammation. If your main goals are improving fine lines and promoting cell regeneration, Healer is a better fit. For dark circles and fine lines around the eyes, we highly recommend Rejuran Eye.

Q. Which option for Rejuran is less painful?

A. HB is relatively less painful. HB contains lidocaine (an anesthetic), whereas Healer consists of PN alone, so it tends to be more painful.

Q. How many Rejuran treatments will I need to get?

A. For the target areas, we recommend a basic course of 3 sessions spaced 1 month apart. With consistent treatments, you will notice a reduction in fine lines as collagen remodeling takes place.
