Sculptra Price: You Should Check Vial (Bottle)
Sculptra price depends on the number of vials needed. For 3 vials, expect under 2 million won.

why you should first check
the number of vials

Q. Sculptra price,
isn't it just different from clinic to clinic?
A. It's not just a difference in clinic margins.
Depending on how many vials are used
the price can vary by as much as 2โ3 times.
You need to know that baseline first.
Q. Then how many vials do I need?
A. It depends on the degree of facial volume loss and your age.
Three vials is the most common benchmark,
and at that point it's under 2 million won.
"For Sculptra treatment costs, it's best to first check how many vials
will be needed.
If it's 3 vials, it's roughly under 2 million won."
โ Dr. Wi Young-jin (Beautystone Clinic, Seoul)

The real reason Sculptra prices vary so much
from clinic to clinic
If you search for it, Sculptra prices
range from "400,000 won per vial"
to "a full package for 6 million won" really wildly.
The reason, to be honest,
is that the total number of vials is different.
Sculptra is a Filler that stimulates Collagen production
and contains PLLA (poly-L-lactic acid).
Unlike HA fillers, which inject a large amount at once,
it is administered by distributing small amounts broadly.
So to restore overall facial volume,
one or two vials are often not enough in practice.
There's something important here.
The number of vials does not simply mean
"the more you use, the better the result."
How far the volume loss has progressed,
and which areas need it
are factors that must be calculated precisely.
For people in their early 40s whose cheeks are just starting to hollow,
around 3 vials is the most realistic starting point.
In this case, the total cost is under 2 million won.
If you're in your 50s or older, or the volume loss has
progressed significantly,
it may go up to 4โ5 vials.
So before asking, "How much is Sculptra?"
asking,
"How many vials do I need?"
first is a much more accurate approach.
๐จโโ๏ธ Dr. Wi Young-jin's key summary
For Sculptra, the total number of vials matters more than
the per-vial price.
If your cheek hollowing has just begun, 3 vials,
under 2 million won is a realistic baseline.
Before consultation, confirming "how many vials my face needs"
first is the fastest way to avoid unnecessary costs.

Sculptra: for these people,
if the vial count is set incorrectly,
you'll actually lose out
The tricky part is,
Sculptra doesn't show results right away.
It takes months just for Collagen production
to begin.
Usually, volume changes are felt 2~3 months after treatment,
and peak around 6 months.
So at the first consultation,
if the vial count is set too low,
the effect may feel minimal, so
you may think, "Maybe Sculptra isn't right for me" and
give up. There are quite a few like that.
On the other hand, using more isn't always the answer either.
With excessive treatment, nodules under the skin
(hard lumps that form under the skin)
can occur.
But there's something important here.
Nodule side effects usually happen when the dilution ratio
isn't followed properly, or
when post-treatment massage is neglected.
If the protocol is followed,
it's fully preventable.
It varies by case,
but this is generally how I do it.
For first-time visitors,
I first check the overall facial volume status,
then start with 3 vials
and review the results after 2~3 months
to decide whether additional treatment is needed.
Rather than using too much at once,
a stepwise approach gives more natural results and
is more cost-effective.
In fact, among people who had it twice elsewhere
and said they didn't feel any effect,
quite a few cases were simply under-dosed.
After resetting the volume baseline at our clinic
and starting with 3 vials,
we often hear that satisfaction was noticeably different.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q1. Is Sculptra a one-time treatment,
or do you need multiple sessions?
A. This is a common misconception,
Sculptra is basically a treatment that uses
multiple vials in one session.
There are cases where the session itself is repeated,
but that's when volume loss has progressed a lot
or when it's for maintenance.
If you're starting for the first time,
matching the appropriate number of vials within one session comes first,
and then maintenance treatment is usually done 1~2 years later.
That's the typical flow.
Q2. I see many reviews saying Sculptra doesn't work.
Why is that?
A. Honestly, it was usually because the vial count was insufficient or
the expectations themselves were
set incorrectly.
Sculptra is not a treatment that
fills volume immediately,
but one that induces Collagen production
to gradually restore volume.
The real result is 3~6 months after treatment,
not immediately after.
People who weren't properly informed about this
often leave reviews saying "it doesn't work."
