If you're holding two quotes for titanium lifting and one is noticeably cheaper, the gap often isn't a discount. It can be a different treatment wearing the same word.
Here's the part most quotes leave out: titanium isn't the name of a procedure. It's the name of a laser platform. So a line that reads "Titanium, 5 sessions" tells you which machine got switched on and almost nothing about what that machine was asked to do — which wavelengths, at what strength, and how many times the handpiece travels over your skin.
In this article, we'll cover why a device name can't price a session on its own, how the wavelength mix and the delivery mode each move the number, and the three lines worth asking a clinic to fill in before you set two quotes side by side.
What a Quote Hides When It Only Says "Titanium"
Start with where the platform came from, because it explains everything downstream. Redness and a warm, stinging feeling during and shortly after each pass are the common reactions, and they settle on their own as the skin calms down. How long that takes differs from person to person, so someone else's timeline is not a benchmark for yours.
The risks worth naming out loud are burns and pigment change, and they're not evenly distributed.
